15mm Space Wolves (Wolf Guard Terminators for personal 15mm Space Hulk project)

...and now for a wee personal project (15mm Space Hulk) and my favorite chapter "The Wolves of Russ"

The "9th Death Heads" Atraedan Marine Regulators

Some mobile infantry ground support for the "Bucketheads". The "9th Death Heads" is one of the premiere Regulator Marine Corps units serving in the Atraedan arsenal. 18mm to the eye!

DF-10 "Crab" Heavy War Crate

DF-10 Crab Heavy War-Crate
The mother of all early stage war crates, the Crab is the first crate not to derive itself from the common design core of the Groat, and is the first truly heavy war-crate. This tracked unit is a rumbling behemoth of a machine, slapped and gridded with excess welded armour plate and boasting the biggest bombardier cannon any logically programmed engineer-bot could compute at the time. Slow and ponderous, it may take twelve cycles just to reverse out of the machine shop, but rest assured when this thumping grudge hammer of a war-crate finally reaches its destination, it takes the strongest programmed bots not to nullify their directive and skedaddle from their hard points. Four bot crew (1 Driver-bot, 1 Gunner-bot, 1 Engineer-bot, 1 Commander-bot)

DF-5 "Mule" Medium War Crate

DF5 Mule Medium War-Crate
Basically this war crate is yet another field modification of the DF3. Servo engineer bots tinkering away in arc lit oil stained machine shops have riveted a turret mantle and cupola configuration onto a converted Groat in an effort to create a battle tank of sorts. Slightly up-armoured on the hull, the gunner/observer now benefits from its own protective shell, with the added bonus of a large bombardier cannon slapped on the front. Slightly slower than the Groat and barely able to keep pace with the designated transporter what the Mule lacks in speed it makes up for in survivability and the added firepower that its battle cannon offers. Still able to carry one or two riders into battle, the main objective for this battlefield asset is to locate and eradicate hard targets otherwise impervious to small arms fire in support of the advance of friendly ground pounders. Three bot crew (1 Driver/Engineer-bot, 1 Gunner-bot, 1 Commander-bot)

DF3 "Groat" Light War Crate

DF3 Groat Light War-Crate
This small tracked vehicle served as the primary labour donkey of Destroid IVs mining operation. Retro-fitted with a multitude of different winches, toolings, equipment load outs it fulfilled hundreds of different roles from drilling and excavation, to haulage and dignitary transport. The DF3 (Destroid Fleet 3) is an adapted tracked transport which serves doubly as an idea recon vehicle and ammunition carrier. Grinding along the iron strewn junklands of Destroid IV like a Speckly Ramble Crab this small yet heavily armoured track can be outfitted to fulfill any mission directive. Capable of carrying up six bot tank riders into battle, its two bot crew (1 Driver/Engineer-bot and 1 Gunner/Observer-bot) is often utilised to provide support fire in times of need.

Warpod: Rigger Sniperbot "Shaft Silo" pre-painting image

Ladies and Gentlemen
Here is the pre-painting complete model of "Shaft Silo" the elite Rigger Sniperbot and his pet Gronkel bettle as they take up a shooter position behind a cluster of battlefield litter in the form of a fallen Rigger Riflebot comrade. This example has been produced in polyurethane resin although the final production piece has been completed in white metal. Enjoy!

World of Konk: Halfknuckle Longship and Viking Totems

Just an example of one of the many longships that can be founds braving the treacherous reaches of Frosthammers Drift... and some garden ornaments for the local barbarian patrons of Konk!

World of Konk: The Halfknuckle Tribe of Berg

Led by the mighty Chieftain Rerek Halfknuckle, the largest tribe on the lush isles of Berg boasts a long and proud tradition. Hailing back to the black days of old the Halfknuckle longships first settled on Berg by sheer accident, forced to make landfall and seek shelter after several of their key warships were ravaged and sunk by Dragons that also make home atop the menacing clifftops and mountains that cover Berg.

DF-10 Crab Heavy War-Crate

The mother of all early stage War-Crates, the Crab totes a bulky turret battle battery built around a heavily modified hull deriving from the design core of the lighter Groat War-Crate. It is the first truly heavy War-Crate. This tracked unit is a rumbling behemoth of a machine, slapped and gridded with excess welded armoured plate and boasting the biggest bombardier cannon any logically programmed engineer-bot could compute at the time.

The Crab is a multi-part tank miniature produced in white metal and resin components. The Crab will be released in the first wave of Warpod miniatures both by Zombiesmith and Flytrap Factory early 2014.

AR-15 Drone Air Superiority Fighter Turbine

With the emergence of converted machinery adapted for warfare upon the battlefield, commanders on both sides knew it would be only a matter of time before the first aerial assets followed suit. The very first of such assets was the AR-15 Drone. A two seater turbine whose original function was that of aerial survey and airborne load transferral  in the construction zones. Stripped of superfluous industrial load out and sensory equipment the Drone became lighter and subsequently faster. Internal Sensory computers were relocated to the pilots cockpit as an addition to his function and with the introduction of a tail gunner a VM-5 Blitzer cannon mounted in the rear cockpit area seemed only fitting.

Turbines have experienced a rise in popularity with field commanders, their role becoming exponentially more vital as pre-Kontagion planetary defense weapons and anti-aerial batteries get gradually knocked out of commission freeing up the ability to manoeuvre and function in airspace with reduced threat of being shot down.
Drones often carry one of numerous load outs of under-slung wing mounted weapons systems. Grudge missiles, Crackbombs and additional Blitzers are all common sight.

This is a pic of our pre-production model, it is a multi part resin and white metal kit.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Alistair O'Brien Cyber-Wizard

Created in Maya and ZBrush by our resident 3d modelling master Alistair O'Brien we would like to preview our upcoming art platform the "Boofhead". We hope to use the "Boofhead" for many different projects in the future as we beging to delve deeper into the world of high end collectible vinyl toys... we are constantly blown away by Alistairs flair and talent in this field...

How everything begins

All of our models begin life as a crude pen/pencil sketch, scanned into the pooter and mucked around with until we have something to move into the next stage of our pipeline...sculpting!

...and another that didn't quite make the cut (still WIP)

One of the first concept sheets (done back in late 2010)

Rigger POD (Programmable Objective Devices) Patrol 4 bot Fire Team composition.

As you can see, a few minor changes have been made but the basic aesthetic remains the same (compared to this pic created recently)

Thanks for looking!
